Ten (10) Primary Benefits of Managing the Company’s TMSA, ISM and ISO Management Systems Using HMMS’s TMSALogix Web Based Solution

    TMSALogix provides a “turnkey” solution that includes all TMSA, ISM and ISO Policies, Procedures, Checklists & Forms and Reports, needed to meet these requirements. TMSALogix Policies and Procedures (TMSA-QMS) were developed according to TMSA Element 1 (1b,2,1) KPI requirements that Policies and Procedures are to be written in plain language and contain sufficient detail to ensure that tasks can be completed correctly and consistently.
  1. TMSALogix Access is Based on User Role.

    The Company controls who can access the various sections of TMSALogix based on an individual user’s role and responsibilities within the Company. This feature provides the Company with the control to limit access to Company information within TMSALogix.

  2. image6TMSALogix Operates with Pre-Configured Workflows to Route all Forms & Checklists and Tasks & Notifications, and to Produce TMSA Compliant Reports. 

    TMSALogix is pre-configured with the Workflows required to meet all of the requirements within the TMSA System. All data entry forms are initiated within the TMSALogix and are programmed to electronically move through the system, user role to user role, until final completion. This provides for easy tracking of the status of a myriad of ongoing action items at all stages within the process. The pre-configured Reports have been developed to demonstrate compliance with the TMSA requirements and to efficiently inform senior management of the most salient information to manage the company’s TMSA program.
  1. TMSALogix Provides Workflow Aboard Vessels While Off-line.

    Based on the hardware setup onboard the vessels, documents move through the vessel’s side of the workflow process while the vessel is off-line. The vessel’s database is then synchronized with the Company’s Master TMSALogix database using the e-mail system.
  1. image8TMSALogix Includes OCIMF, ISM & ISO Audit Checklists

    with hotlinks to the specific policies, procedures, documentation and reports that verify compliance with the requirements of each management system. Data is maintained and analyzed for each Audit by office, vessel, auditor, auditing company and audited documents. This feature enables clients to analyze and compare audits more efficiently and effectively
  1. TMSALogix’s Web Based Feature Enables OCIMF, ISM or ISO Auditors Remote Access

    to audit the Company’s compliance from anywhere in the world via the web. The Auditor is provided with a unique username and password that limits access to the respective management system checklist and linked documentation. This saves time and money for the Company, and makes for a more efficient audit.
  1. TMSALogix Provides Users with an Up to Date Indicative TMSA Score Rating

    image10 based on input to the Company’s OCIMF Self-Assessment Checklist.  The indicative TMSA Score Rating is supported by the policies, procedures, documentation and reports contained with the TMSALogix database and it enables the Company to be in a better position to monitor and make corrections to the TMSA-QMS to demonstrate continuous improvement in meeting the TMSA requirements.

 

  1. image12TMSALogix Isolates TMSA, ISM & ISO Systems from an Audit Perspective.

    This enables the Company to use one overall management system which can be isolated by requirement type (TMSA, ISM or ISO) so that the scope of an audit can be limited to the specific requirements of ISM, ISO or TMSA.
  1. TMSALogix Provides Users Access to Global Data

    on near misses, accidents, lessons learned, audit results by auditor, auditing company, etc. to provide each client with more meaningful information to “benchmark” their operations, to carry out risk assessments and to enable continuous improvements in the Company’s TMSA-QMS. All shared data is sanitized to remove vessel and company specific information to protect each client’s confidentiality.

 

  1. TMSALogix was Developed to Enable Integration of Other Company Used Software. 

    image14Many companies currently use software modules for planned maintenance, crewing, etc. These software modules can be integrated within TMSALogix so that required data can be automatically accessed or entered into the appropriate documents and reports within TMSALogix. This process reduces the additional work required when data has to be retrieved from different software modules to document compliance with the TMSA requirements.
