In addition to the services listed in section I, Hudson Marine Management Services (HMMS) has the in-house expertise to offer clients the following additional shipboard services:

Chemical/Hazardous Materials Response - It is clear that the United States is presently developing regulations to cover responses to incidents involving chemicals and hazardous materials. We have been responding to such incidents, several significant in scope, for our clients. We have now nearly completed assembling our full chemical/hazardous materials response team (including such disciplines as, for example, industrial hygienists, and toxicologists) to enhance our already quite significant capabilities in this field.

Surveys / Audits / ISM Internal Audits - We are providing in-house expertise for following surveys: CDI inspections, Pre-examination for USCG's annual Tanker Vessel Examination (TVE), Environmental Audits of Passenger Ships, Sale & Purchase, Vetting and On-hire off-hire surveys. Through our worldwide network, we can offer you shipboard audits anywhere in the world.

Worldwide Response Network - We offer direct assistance world wide, in case of an incident, especially in all marine and maritime issues, which may come up during a locally managed response.

European Legislation Advisory - based on the broad range of expertise, we will be in a position to supply to our clients advice and assistance with new and upcoming legislation in Europe and other regions.

Professional Emergency - Any type of Preparedness and Emergency Training sessions are tailor made to individually fit the client's needs giving the best result, both in terms of OPA 90 compliance, as well as the ISM.

Technical Problem Solving - We have long experience in solving many different types of technical issues, inspections, surveys, etc., which will allow us to present a detailed technical plan to the USCG, minimizing any delays to the vessel during an incident.

Shipping Experience - Our top management as well as our senior surveyors come from the shipping industry. Consequently, we will immediately think in the same terms as a Shipping Professional, making quicker decisions in line with the client's wishes.

Plan Writing - Our plan writing department drafts, maintain, and update Vessel Response Plans (VRPs), SOPEPs, State Plans i.e. California (Tankers and Non-Tankers), Washington and Alaska, as well as Corporate Emergency Response Plans, and Ballast Water Management Plans.

Training / Exercises - We are providing a wide range of training and exercise programs to comply with national and international rules. In addition we are also giving training within fields which may assist the Owner/Operator in his daily operation.
